Not all performance gaps can be solved with training—so how do you know when to train and when to take a different approach?  This interactive session will equip training professionals with the tools and techniques to go beyond traditional learning solutions. You’ll learn ways to assess performance needs, distinguish between training and non-training solutions, and explore practical strategies to address non-training challenges.

Competency Framework: Coaching, Instructional Design, Learning and Development Practice, On-the-job Training

    Speaker:

    Leonie Black

Leonie has been a long-time advocate of performance consulting techniques and has applied this approach both as an internal and external consultant. She has used this way of thinking in a range of contexts, from large-scale organisational change initiatives to individual on-the-job performance challenges.

Leonie will help you discover how a performance-first mindset can create meaningful impact for both your organisation and the individuals you support - starting with practical tools you can apply by the end of this session.
