Speakers:

  • Karen Gillie: Originally from Te whenua ō Ngati Palawa (Tasmania), Karen began her career in crisis counselling in the 90s. Her journey into L&D started with developing victim support training for the Tasmanian Police Force, sparking a lifelong fascination with adult learning. She has trained counsellors in New Zealand, lectured in Adult Learning at the Christchurch College of Education, and worked in various L&D roles. Karen deeply respects the role of Subject Matter Experts in creating authentic and effective learning experiences.
  • Dan Tohill: With a career spanning three decades, Dan is a learning specialist with a background in business psychology. He founded Inspire Group in 2001, revolutionising organisational learning in New Zealand and Australia. Inspire Group is celebrated for its innovation and is recognised as one of New Zealand’s top workplaces.

Cancellations and Attendance:

  • Once registered, you will be expected to pay regardless of attendance.
