When 1,300 people join your organisation through a major transition, induction becomes more than a welcome pack and a first-day presentation.

This showcase explores how Auckland Council is reinventing induction through the Kaimahi Experience (KX) programme, using data, human-centred design and organisational insight to create an experience centred on belonging, connection and success. We'll share our journey so far, from launching a redesigned pre-induction experience to establishing Auckland Council's first People Leader Peer Coaching programme, a capability-building initiative designed to create lasting impact long after the transition is complete.

Part innovation story, part learning design case study, this session will appeal to L&D professionals interested in applying bold thinking, leveraging internal expertise, and creating learning solutions that become organisational legacy.
