“Emerging Technology Initiative” Award

NZATD has introduced this award, in association with the NZATD Education Trust, to recognise excellence in the design and implementation of technology-based L&D initiatives within organisations. The key focus of the award is to find examples of best practice, where the technology-based programme is aptly suited to the environment in which is delivered and is an integral part of meeting organisational outcomes.

Application Criteria

The winning entry will:

  • Use new technology in a learning setting
  • Demonstrate use of the best tool to meet the learning outcomes
  • Demonstrate application of the NZATD Competency Framework, Core Competencies (Adult Learning Principles and Learning and Development Practice)
  • Demonstrate high skills in the application of at least two NZATD Competency Framework Specialist Competencies (Instructional Design, Assessment, On-the-Job Training, Evaluation, eLearning, Facilitation, Informal/Social Learning)
